Product Information
Overview
The factory rear mount on the Elantra N is a known weak point. We engineered the HRD Precision-Machined Lower Motor Mount to solve that issue by delivering exceptional strength and durability without compromising daily drivability. And for total peace of mind, it’s backed by our industry leading lifetime warranty.
We designed our lower motor mount from 7000-series billet aluminum, a far superior, stronger and lighter material than the 6061 that is commonly used. While it may be beyond the typical standards, our lower motor mount is over-engineered by choice. When you’re controlling the violent back-and-forth motion between your engine and firewall, strength matters. Precision matters. So we've machined it to tight tolerances, applied our iconic Midnight Navy anodized finish, chose bushing composition with intent, and applied a dose of our signature Titan Frost titanium hardware.
We spec’d 60A durometer bushings for our Elantra N lower motor mount. This represents a healthy step above your OEM component, but far from the excessively rattly polyurethane found in race-only alternatives. Why? Because this part is as much about feel as it is about function. You want that clean and crisp engagement, without making your interior sound like a toolbox on gravel. This is NVH-conscious, not NVH-blind.
On/off throttle transitions become smoother. Shifts become tighter. The drivetrain feels more cohesive. You feel more in control, not because the car got faster, but because it now feels like it should have from the start. Mechanical, connected, and intentional.
By holding down your drivetrain in a more fixed manner, you'll also be able to put power down smoother throughout the rev range. You'll notice the difference after your first drive.
It’s the kind of mod that makes you look forward to shifting. That makes heel-toe rev matches feel sharper. Power just delivers to the ground without skipping a beat. You'll fall in love with your car, all over again.

Dual Duty Design
The modern enthusiast asks their car to live two very different lives. It has to start every morning, survive traffic, and stay quiet enough to hold a conversation. Then, on demand, it has to feel sharp, confident and absolutely ready to hunt lap times or podiums.
At Happy Racer Development, that tension is not a problem to hide, it's the foundation of our Dual Duty philosophy. From dampers to drivetrain mounts to shifting hardware, every HRD component is engineered to operate across a wide spectrum of use, delivering real performance without sacraficing the ability to actually live with the car.
Refinement without loss of drivability is where Dual Duty truly differentiates itself. Anyone can make a part that feels extreme for a few laps; our goal is controlled, repeatable performance that you can live with every day.
