Warranty

All Happy Racer Development (“HRD”) products are for off road use or motorsport use only. They therefore may never be installed on vehicles that will be driven on a public road or highway.

All products created by HRD are covered under one of two warranties which will be designated on each product’s respective listing. Our warranties are non-transferrable and begin from the original purchase date.

Five-Year Limited Manufacture's Warranty

A five-year limited manufacture’s warranty applies to our HRD Street Performance Dampers, HRD Podium Ready Dampers, HRD Top Secret Dampers, and HRD AIR Struts.

This five-year limited warranty covers hard parts including top hats, shock mounts, camber plates, shock bodies, spring perches, high-low kits, and springs.

This five-year limited warranty does not cover consumable parts including pillow-ball bearings, piston-shafts, seals, damper internals, damper oil/gas, or other components considered a wear-and-tear item. Consumable parts are considered as part of routine maintenance of your dampers or air struts.

All products covered by our five-year limited manufacture’s warranty applies to the original retail purchaser and includes warranty against defects in workmanship and material.

Limited Lifetime Manufacture's Warranty

A limited lifetime manufacture’s warranty applies to all of our products that are not itemized as being covered under our five-year limited manufacture’s warranty above.

This limited lifetime warranty covers hard parts such as CNC’d components, fittings, bolts and nuts (or other hardware), or any cast components.

This limited lifetime warranty does not cover consumable parts such as seals, O-rings, lubricants, or fluids.

All products covered by our limited lifetime manufacture’s warranty applies to the original retail purchaser and includes warranty against defects in workmanship or material.

How Does Warranty Work

In the case a warranty claim is approved, HRD will repair or replace the impacted part(s). We will provide a shipping label to send the impacted part(s) back to our facility for inspection and repair work. Upon completion of any relevant repairs, HRD will then ship the impacted part(s) directly back to you.

If you purchased directly from HRD, we will verify your original order placed with us. If you purchased from an authorized dealer or distributor, we will request a copy of your original receipt.

Once we've provided you with a label, you must drop off at the selected carrier (Fedex or UPS) within 5 business days.

What Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Any products not purchased through authorized HRD dealers or distributors
  • Any products purchased through unauthorized or blacklisted retailers
  • Any products purchased second-hand
  • Any products that show signs of improper installation, collision, abuse, or intentional destruction
  • Any products that have been altered or otherwise modified in any way
  • Any products that have not been professionally installed
  • Any products that exhibit normal corrosion wear and tear
