Offering decreased stopping distance, enhanced heat dissipation, and reduced fade, our Podium Ready BBK is ready to tackle both the track and streets with confidence. With everything you need for a direct bolt-on installation, you'll be experiencing the difference a proper brake setup can make in no time.
Ultra Strong Forged Calipers
Our Podium Ready BBK utilizes a forged aluminum design for a meticulously enhanced weight to strength ratio. This reduces caliper flex during harsh braking, while simultaneously reducing un-sprung weight. Under prolonged stress your brake calipers will undergo a wide range of extreme hydraulic pressures, making forged aluminum calipers integral to consistent braking performance. Precise CNC-machining of our forged aluminum calipers also leads to greater dimensional accuracy, allowing for improved pad wear uniformity, seal longevity, and pedal consistency.
Two-Piece Floating Rotors
Featuring a lightweight aluminum hat, we are able to further reduce un-sprung weight while offering better heat dissipation. With our floating rotor design, the outer ring and inner hat are able to expand and contract independently. This allows for less thermal stress and distortion, granting more consistent braking performance over extended sessions at the track. The floating system also allows for slight lateral movement, ensuring that your rotor stays aligned with the caliper resulting in smoother pedal feel, better initial bite, and more consistent pad contact under heavy braking.
Stainless Steel Pistons
Aggressive braking generates intense heat and as a result we've engineered our Podium Ready BBK to utilize stainless steel pistons as a standard feature. Stainless steel pistons offer superior dimensional stability under high temperatures and pressures, while mitigating heat soak better than inferior alloy alternatives. This results in reduced heat transfer to the caliper body, allowing for reduced brake fade under prolonged aggressive braking. Stainless steel also has enhanced corrosion resistance, allowing for prolonged service life in adverse climates.
Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Supplied with each Podium Ready BBK are a pair of stainless steel braided brake lines. Compared to your OEM rubber lines, stainless steel lines are abrasion resistant, corrosion-resistant, and UV-stable. By utilizing PTFE cores and stainless braided outer sleeves, our brake lines resist expansion and degradation in high-temperature environments, such as repeated hard braking. The result is a firmer, more consistent pedal feel.
Wide Range of Pad Compatibility
While our Podium Ready BBK come with a set of our standard HRD brake pads, we know that enthusiasts often have a specific set of pads that they have gotten familiar and comfortable with. Our BBK is compatible with a wide range of brake pads from industry leaders such as Ferodo, Hawk, EBC, and more so that you can truly dial in your braking system to your specific preferences.
