If you’ve ever felt your Subaru lurch forward after a hard shift, you already know why this mod matters. From the factory, the Subaru pitch stop mount is a weak link. It’s a hollow, cast piece of aluminum with soft rubber bushings - designed more for comfort than performance. Under hard throttle, engine braking, or aggressive shifting, it flexes. The whole drivetrain rocks back and forth. You feel it as slop in the shifter. You hear it as drivetrain knock. You lose connection with your car.
The HRD Precision Machined 7075-T6 Pitch Stop Mount eliminates all of that.
Engineered for Uncompromising Strength
We designed our pitch stop from 7075-T6 billet aluminum - a far stronger and more robust alloy than the 6061 that is commonly used. It's over-engineered by choice. When you’re controlling the violent back-and-forth motion between your engine and firewall, strength matters. Precision matters. So we machined it to tight tolerances, applied our iconic Apex Silver anodized finish, and chose bushing materials with intent.
Built to OEM+ Specifications
We spec’d 75A durometer bushings - a step above the beloved JDM Group N STi mount, but far from the rattly polyurethane found in race-only alternatives. Why? Because this part is as much about feel as it is about function. You want that clean and crisp engagement, without making your interior sound like a toolbox on gravel. This is NVH-conscious, not NVH-blind.
An Easy-to-Install Must Have
Ask around on any Subaru forum - this is one of the top “first mods” for a reason. It’s affordable. It’s easy to install. And it transforms the way your car feels.
Shifts feel tighter. On/off throttle transitions become smoother. The drivetrain feels more cohesive. You feel more in control - not because the car got faster, but because it now feels like it should have from the start. Tight, connected, and intentional.
It’s the kind of mod that makes you look forward to shifting. That makes heel-toe rev matches feel sharper. You'll fall in love with your car, all over again.
